So a couple of days ago, a new set of Apptous doors officially opened!
To skip the short emotional speech below, you can sign up and get chatting about Android apps and networking with fellow enthusiasts here:
Plus as our way of saying thanks, the first 25 people to sign up and use Apptous for the next four weeks (and answer a few quick questions at the end of each week) will receive a $50 Amazon or Google Play voucher.
Overall though, it’s been a long time in the making. But, as a team, we’re now finally welcoming (with open arms) the first, select few app enthusiasts, developers, testers, and users who’ve signed up to our pilot test (that’s you!).
We know the discussion platform isn’t quite perfect yet, but we’re pretty confident that you’ll see the value (and potential) in what we’ve created so far.
Our bigger picture is to help make the app world a better place. So, what we really need now (and would be massively grateful for) is for you, as an enthusiast, to log in, play around with the platform, and let us know what we can do to improve things . We want to ensure we’re providing as much value to you, as a user, as possible.
– We want to know what would make the user experience easier
– What works well
– What doesn’t work
– What needs tweaking
– Which bugs need fixing
We’re keeping the entire development process as open as possible, so you can see the bugs we’ve found and the ideas we have over on the Apptous Dev wall, and you can also jump right in there and start contributing yourself.
To get started, sign up here, check out the few welcome notes we’ve added, take a look around, start and join some discussions around some of the apps you currently use, ask questions, and let us know what you think!
We’re excited to see you over there, and can’t wait to start implementing some of the ideas you have!
Looking forward to getting to know you over on Apptous.
